Meet Greatest Indian Mathematician "Vashishtha Narayan Singh"

This picture is of “Vashishtha Narayan Singh” one of the the greatest Mathematician alive.
When most of us are striving hard to get a visa for USA this man came back to India in 1972 to serve in academics.

The mathematician who challenged works of Great Scientist Albert Einstein needs our attention.

1961: Admitted to the prestigious Science College, Patna
1963: Went to University of California, Berkley to study Mathematics under Prof. John L. Kelley

2013 – Lives in complete anonymity with none to care for him.
Can we learn to respect?
Why do we always fail to respect true geniuses ?
[But many don't know about this extraordinary man because In India, Mathematician live a covert life and are ultimately forgotten because of the ignorance of the Government and the media.
He is neither a celebrity nor a Cricketer !! He is just a poor Ignored Indian Genius who challenged all western Mathematician]

I have heard of him earlier and there is no doubt that he is a genius. The Bihar Govt and the Central Govt should support him financially and emotionally. He deserves a very high ranking civilian award from the Govt of India for his contribution in the field of mathematics. Unfortunately in India awards go to scientists who have contributed in physics, chemistry and biological sciences but mathematics being the mother of all sciences is ignored. I must thank you for bringing the story of this great man before all of us.
i heard from my hindi teacher.. that when Neil Armstrong went to the moon .. some problem occurred.. it was kind of related to maths.. while all the other people went on banging their minds on their computers.. he just smiled and gave the Solution to the problem..

Even when he was returning to India.. He was asked to stay but he wanted to serve his own country..

and this is what he gets in return.. Shame on us !! really heartbreaking!
Thanks!!

Why Indian Movie "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" Is Not Overrated

Well, it is not at all Overrated. Why? Here you go:

  • Critics changed their rating standards for the movie. 4.5 stars of 5 is really a big deal.
  • Production Cost: ₹30 crore, Collection in just six days: ₹98 crore, still counting.
  • Audience loved it

This was from a general audiences pov. Lets see it with Greater Depth:

  • Pre Production written amazingly, Dialogues Superb and on top of that do fair job with 3 act structure of a story.

  • Production:
  1. Cinematography: Amazing Lighting
Notice the use of Practical Lights in the Background to add Depth and Bokeh, for a cinematic look.
  2. Acting: Kangana, She did an amazing and fair job with both of her characters. Often it becomes difficult to act differently with same characters in small spam of time. Deepak (Pappi), he is the one who took the flow of narrative. If we hide his punches the movie would have gone very slow and boring, his acting was amazing and very natural especially the part 'Good Question' in DU seminar. Jimmy, i am a fan of him after watching the film, what a wonderful acting typical UP man. He just nailed it. Others did a fair job in terms of acting.
  3. Tracks: with Haryanavi lyrics, music is successful with the narrative flow as well as setting a new trend in general audience, which is very much necessary to spread words about the movie.

  • Post Production:
  1. Editing: Pace is maintained throughout, audience is curious always to know what will happen next? Parallel cutting between both Tanu and Manu's story is great.
  2. Colour Grading:
The frames look Crisp, Sharp and Contrasty with a great range of colours. Which is enough to make a film look Gorgeous.

So, the movie which stands on these points is automatically above Average. At last, the Audience is the king to decide which movie is good or not and in my opinion it is not at all overrated.

The movie was a joy to watch. It was like a breath of fresh air. Everything, from dialogues to acting to cinematography, was brilliant. More importantly, the movie depicted the middle-class, which is hard to find in Bollywood films. Just look at the trailer of 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. Some millionaire family on a cruise and talks about gifting 'airplanes'. That's the kind of cinema we can't relate to, regardless of how great the movie is. But Tanu weds Manu Returns is totally relatable.
Thanks!!

7 Amazing Photos Of "Lochnagar Crater" of France

The Lochnagar mine was a mine dug by the 179th Tunnelling Company of the Royal Engineers, under a German field fortification known as Schwabenhöhe, in the front line south of the village of La Boisselle in the Somme département of France. The mine was sprung at 7:28 a.m. on 1 July 1916, the first day of the Battle of the Somme, as the infantry of the British 34th Division, which was composed of Pals battalions from the north of England, attacked the positions of Reserve Infantry Regiment 110 of the German 28th Reserve Division, mainly recruited from Baden, on either side of La Boisselle. The crater was captured and held by British troops but the attack on either flank was defeated by German small-arms and artillery fire, except on the extreme right flank and just south of La Boisselle, north of the new crater. The 34th Division incurred the largest number of casualties of the British divisions which attacked on 1 July. The crater has been preserved as a memorial, where a service is held on 1 July each year.
